Sofia is six months old!

I have been documenting little Sophie's life in photos, since before she was even born. I was there for Jaci and Caleb's gender reveal party, baby shower, and newborn photos. I was even there for the labor and delivery of her! Which is truly a moment I will never forget. Seeing my beautiful cousin Jaci become a mom, was just magical. You can tell from their first photos how there was a love there that will last forever and ever. 

Sophie turned 6 months old at the beginning of October and a couple weeks later we met up at my sister and brother in laws beautiful house for some pictures! We even got a few shots of her in her peacock Halloween costume, that her mommy made! Here are some of the photos from our time together!

Megan and JD Engagement Session

    I met this cute couple probably close to a year ago, when Megan won my first free session contest. 

Here are a couple of photos from our first meeting. Along for the shoot was Megan's cute little boy. 

We became fast friends, and texting buddies. When she got engaged I was over the moon excited for them. I even went along as she tried on wedding dresses, and the one she picked...wow, just wow. There wasn't a dry eye in the room when she walked out in that dress. 

We waited a while to do these engagement photos because we wanted fall colors. We also wanted to do them at her wedding venue The Red Boot Ranch. A couple weekends ago we all headed down to the ranch in Clover, SC. We were greeted by the very kind owner of the ranch Mr. Randy Harris. He was so nice and told us we were free to shoot where ever and move things if we needed to. There had been a wedding there the night before so we used some of the leftover decorations. The whole ranch was really beautiful. An awesome place for beautiful backdrops for photos!

Nolan is One!

Its been a while since I've posted, but I did a photo shoot with the cutest little boy a couple of weeks ago, and thought today would be the perfect day to post the photos! Why? Because today Nolan turns one! I went over to his house a couple weeks ago to take his one year photos! I had baked a little smash cake for him. Made some back drop decorations. And his mommy had the balloons at the ready!

As soon as I got there we got started, Nolan was fresh from a nap and ready to go. He was so sweet and quiet. He looked right at my camera too, which is rare for such a little one! We tried a variety of poses and outfits. Some he loved, and some not so much! He definitely wasn't that interested in his cake, but I still managed to get some great shots! He is such a photogenic little guy, and I can only hope to work with him again!
